Midwest born and raised, I grew up filling one sketch book after another. My innate ability to see shape and detail and my persistent curiosity of natural processes encourages me to see art in science and science in art - perhaps they are the same!

I am drawn to patterns in nature and communal gatherings of life. I enjoy painting familiar scenes stretched into something more idyllic, like a moment in a dream. Releasing previous art styles, I'm exploring organized chaos through control and release of waters’ flow that aim to create softness amid a hyper-stimulating world.

I live in San Francisco among loved ones and thick marine fog.
